Sportster Fork Protector

An alternative to fork gators. This part is for protecting the fork shaft from road dust to help the fork seals last longer.

This fork protector has a 62.5mm inner diameter and was designed for the forks on a Harley-Davidson Sportster. It was designed to use a M6-1.0 20mm stainless steel machine screw and lock nut. A #10 machine screw and lock nut should also work.

To make the screw easier to access when mounting on the bike mirror the second part in the slicer before printing. The part wall thickness was optimized for 0.4mm nozzle set at three passes for the outer wall.
