Spreader Extension Handle

Needed an extension handle for my pull-behind spreader. This extender allows me to open and close spreader gate without getting off mower.

Designed it for 1" dowel rod. Elbow (corner) connection and lever connection pieces made from PLA. Handle cover made from flexible material.

Cut slit in dowel rod to slide over spreader handle. Drilled holes in dowel & spreader handle to match lever connection pieces.

Length of dowel rod will depend on mower and spreader. I used butterfly nuts for the lever connection so that the handle extension would be removable.
