Spreading Shovel

A practical scoop designed for controlled spreading of seeds, animal feed, salt, fertilizer, and other small granular materials.   The scoop features a gravity-operated sliding gate near the opening. When held in its normal, horizontal position, the gate covers most of the outlet, allowing material to flow gradually for controlled spreading.
