Spreakerbox

This is the smallest (practically printable) box I could make to house one of those common 40mm drivers that can be had for about a tenner (on Amazon). The quality is laughable but sufficient for a small computer where space is at a premium. These drivers are often used in "ported" designs or ones with passive radiators.

Just to be a little different, this is an acoustic suspension which is almost totally sealed - a little bit of leakage is necessary. This cushions the driver's motion and (on a minute scale like this) can prevent damage from over driving it slightly. Of course, the voice coil can (and will) burn out or distort and destroy it if you push them too hard.

Created for sound effects on a portable backpack where quality was less important than size and volume.
