Spring Damping System

This is a fully integrated system. Nothing can be seen outside. When the door opens the small gear runs around the big gear….it helps to move the axel up (there are threads grooved). Then it hits the spring, spring controls the force of the door opening. That way we can avoid dashing the door against the person who opens it. There’s another wheel in the middle part of the main Pole, it works as a Ratchet wrench lock. When u open the door it prevents closing it, when u need to close it simply pull the mechanical lock found by the Door Lock. If the door opens very quickly due to wind, it’ll get stuck without getting open, reason is, the thread groove acts like a Seat belt mechanism. It holds the door firm, if you need to open it back, u need to push back the door a little bit and open back. I hope this is a complete solution for your problem. I couldn’t finish the whole project as I expected with videos because I was hospitalized due to Dengue fever. And I don’t know how to make that Spring flexible, I tried my best to animate it.
