A model of the awesome Sputnik 1 rocket that launched the first artificial satellite into orbit. It was derived from the R-7 Semyorka (first ICBM).

It prints in two pieces. I glued them together with epoxy but super glue will also work.
The scale is 1:144. I added as much detail as I could that would show up in the print.

If you print it, please add a photo to the makes section. I would like to see them!

Printing:
No supports needed (print both files on their flat edge)
I recommend using a ~8mm brim for the Sputnik-bottom.stl file to make sure there's good bed adhesion.
Infill - I used 10% but it can be more.
0.2mm layer height or less.
