Squishy Loopz Series The Squishy Loopz series is a fun twist on the traditional desk fidget. These models are engineered to be printed in a single continuous loop, resulting in a flexible and tactile object that is as much a piece of art as it is a toy. Each entry in the series uses a different geometric path to change the crunch and flexibility of the final print. The Spiral Donut A bold, rounded evolution of the series. The Spiral Donut curves inward along a torus profile, hiding the internal edge to look like a solid, continuous mathematical object. Because the fins taper tightly toward the center ring, it provides a incredibly robust, springy rebound when squished and a satisfyingly smooth, rolling texture in your hands. Slicer Instructions To achieve the intended flexibility and mechanical action, please use these specific settings: Spiral Vase Mode: Enabled Wall Thickness: Exactly 0.4mm Brim: Disabled (None) Crucial Printing Tips Because these models utilize a single wall with no brim, first-layer adhesion is critical to prevent the fins from warping or releasing from the bed mid-print. DO NOT PRINT IN TPU: It doesn't work and will end up being a beautiful spaghetti sculpture. Clean Your Build Plate: Thoroughly wash your build plate with warm water and dish soap (like Dawn) or wipe it down with high-concentration Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) to remove all skin oils and dust. Slow It Down: If you experience adhesion failures or find the fine details are pulling up during the first few layers, reduce your first-layer print speed or overall printing speed to give the filament more time to bond cleanly to the bed. IMPORTANT! When using the customize option ensure that spiral vase and smooth spiral are enabled as well as bottom shell layers are set to 0.
