These stainless steel air vents from China are very flimsy. I used this base (glued to the stainless vent) to support the flimsy base and provide a secure mounting which could be easily removed for cleaning or replacement it the vent becomes damaged. This fits the 100mm size.

Note: There are two different versions of these vents... (see photos)... full round opening and elliptical opening... and the sellers in China do not appear to know which one they are selling. Also expect to receive these damaged as the packaging form China is terrible.
