star gate chevron

A good friend of mine really likes Star Gate. The one's I saw online lacked details of the symbols on the ring. After several attempts, I finally made this project for him.

In order to have the details as you see in the image, I had to print this standing upwards with center supports. When I first attempted to print the ring laying down, the print head was larger then the icons, and made the icons look like brail.

I made the ramp in Tinkercad. After printing the ring, I measured the thickness of the ring, and placed it as the cut off hole that acts as the stand to hold the Star Gate ring up.
