One challenge of 3d printing is food safety: even if the plastic is food safe the printed result probably has small pores where bacteria can hide. So you want to use a food-safe mold-making material. I use copyflex by makeyourownmold.com. You print this, and it forms a mold that you use to create a mold using the food-safe material. I have done similar things in the past, and you have a problem getting the mold out without destroying your 3d print. This has a sleeve that you print along with the mold. You put the sleeve in, and when your mold is ready you pull the sleeve out. Now you have space to grab the mold. In any case, this is intended for maybe 4th of July themed drinks, maybe chocolate, or any other reason you can think of to need a star-shaped mold. There is a single ice-cube version and a version that makes half a dozen at a time. Whatever fits your needs
