Star Wars Kenner Blaster Locking Knobs

These are the knobs that hold the battery cover to the back of the Kenner Han Solo Blaster toy. They have been produced in various colors throughout the years, but most originals are a silver/grey color.

Typically these are missing and I saw this as an easy opportunity to practice blender modeling skills and fix my childhood toy.

Overall, an easy project to model, but testing found some issues with the printed piece. I modified the nub to keep it from breaking, while still close to the look of the original.

Unfortunately, I don't have an original to work from, so I had to resort to photos and lots of measuring to get it close. But, it came out pretty well and for a casual toy fan, it will help complete the piece to a high degree of satisfaction

I would recommend trying to print with a .2mm and configuring the file to print the bottom clip at 100%. If you find a better way to print this, please let me know. I printed it, bottom clip facing down and using supports.
