Starbug 1

My wife is a huge Red Dwarf fan and was wanting a model of Starbug 1. I couldn't find any 3D models to print that were as accurate and detailed as I wanted for my resin printer. So I cobbled this one together in Maya with keyed joints. I'd say it's about 90% screen accurate. There aren't a lot of references online to the filming models, and what I could find wasn't exactly consistent. So it's a bit of a mishmash.

In case anybody want's to print one I'm uploading my low poly version since the smoother high poly version is over a gig in size and that would break my internet.

Be advised that it is by no means an optimized mesh as I banged this out over a couple of afternoons and I'm an amature at best.

I'm probably going to make continuous tweaks to it once I actually start printing, assembling, and painting it. If I make any substantial changes I'll be sure to upload it here.
