Stargate with moving dial ring

I started building Taichl's Stargate over 2 years ago now. Since a lot of rework is necessary, I've lost some motivation to continue.
Now I have rediscovered the parts and decided to finally finish this unfinished project.

However, I had to realize that a closable iris doesn't make any sense if you can't select any address to establish a wormhole. That's why I simply had to create a remix in which the selector ring can be rotated. The chevron locks are now individual parts that are glued on and which act as a holder for the ring after it has been inserted. As part of this change, I also made the lighting element as a separate part, which is also glued in.



Please check the scale of the parts, I designed and printed the Stargate with a factor of 0.9 (print bed too small). I have scaled the 3D model back to the original size, but mistakes can always happen - so please check again just to be sure!
