Here is how I mounted my rectangular Starlink antenna to the top of a post. The mount is designed for a 4x4 (or larger) post.
I made this thinking it may be a temporary solution until I get around to buying a metal one. But it may remain in use for a while.
Update: This worked great for the 4 months I used it. I took it down because I switched to a different internet provider.
