Starrett Level Box (98-4)

This is designed in Metric!!!

This box was designed to protect the Starrett level 98-4 and its cardboard box. This could obviously be re-purposed for anything you need a rectangle box for.

As you can see in the attached pictures the level and box are nestled in to the plastic protection case nicely. On the case I added so gorilla tape to the outside which i believe will add strength but is not necessary as the box was strong enough to function.

So when I designed this case I only left about .25mm clearance between the outer and inner box walls. This clearance does work but was a little tight so you may need to do some sanding if your printer leaves artifacts or imperfections.

My recommendation:

Scale the upper/outside box to be .75% larger then the inside box.

The box I felt came out the best was when I scaled the bottom box to 100.75% and the upper box to 101.5% ... this is the box pictured along with the stl files.
