Steampunk Birdhouse

I enjoy Birds and Steampunk so I combined them. I have printed it a couple of times but not been happy with the filament colors available in PETG. I may eventually go to paint but we will see. The design process was a delightful challenge. I wanted it to be large enough to comfortably house a family of bluebirds, with all the necessary features for their safety and well-being. But it also had to be a work of art, a miniature Victorian factory for birds. One of my key criteria was to integrate a Wyze camera (4) inside, allowing me to observe the nesting process without disturbing the birds.I designed the base to be removable, making cleaning easy. And, thinking of the tiny fledglings, I lined the interior walls with a special "fuzzy skin" texture.
