Steampunk chess board

Steampunk version of this wonderful chess board. I added some supports for 15 mm copper pipe and a base for the legs that are based on the Tuder Rose Box: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:408189 from loubie: https://www.thingiverse.com/loubie/about You need the front_panel_slider and the rose that I added for convenience.

The legs are painted with acrylic copper and silver and glued to the core. As you can see, you can use any colour of filament. Great way to get rid of leftovers.

Mounting the supports is somewhat more tricky, you have to slide them over the pipe before you solder the corner pieces. Make sure they don't get hot or they deform.
