So I have used Cardboard looms to teach children how to weave. My kids love doing the stocking one though each year so I decided to make a sturdier version. Definitely make sure you have a clean glued plate since it is such a large flat piece. I am not gifted with instructions so I will include a link to a instruction. Also any google search for cardboard loom will get you help. I recommend using a chunky yarn for younger kids since it will go much faster. My 7 year old was able to make one side of a stocking in about 4 hours with the chunky yarn pictured.
