Stove Safety Insert

My wife and I have 4 dogs ... our youngest has started trying to look up on the stove for food and we've discovered our gas stove partially turned on and leaking natural gas. This print is a simple fix since we didn't like the clunky childproof covers at the store.

You may need to adjust the height of the model to fit the gap between your stove and the back of the knob so it is a snug fit.

I plan on adding tabs that come down around the grip on the knob so it won't fall twist and fall off.

So far, we haven't had any further issues with our stove mysteriously turning on.
