strap buckle

*edit: I just uploaded a revised version with no bridge across the top. I think it looks better, but it's easier to open (if that's a problem for your application). Easier to print, as it needs a little bit less support to remove after.

and loved it, loved the design (it's actually a remix, the original has the same design, but looks blockier), but I thought it was too long and too thick. i'd used it as a belt buckle for pants with a nylon belt, and it was fine until it broke (I don't think it's a design fault.

When that happened, I set to make a clip/buckle with the same mechanism, but with a totally different profile. less futuristic, but MUCH flatter.

works just as well as the other one, but it's flatter and honestly, I like it better (even though it looks a little more plain).


The uploaded model is made for a 25mm/ 1 inch strap (holes have 28 mm). you can shring the width any size
