This was a project that highlights the reason why 3D printing is so great. My son's TV we use on long car trips has a headrest strap it uses to mount it and broke. Instead of buying a new one or coming up with an annoying solution, I designed this very simple strap mount that can be glued to the the back of it. I use a two part plastic epoxy with a small clap to keep it in place while drying.
I am about to give it a full test with a very long road trip for the holidays. Though I suspect it will out last the OEM and probably the TV. The opening is 2.5cm. I could not find a similar solution on this platform so I made it FreeCAD. This is my first time using FreeCAD (came from another software) so please forgive the simplicity of it.
Print on it's side with a 8mm brim, worked first go.
