To mount my Stream Deck with a standard ¼" arm, I made a little case that accepts a threaded insert. The insert must be inserted from the rear.I used these short inserts because ¼" audio and video equipment typically does not require a lot of thread and it helped keep the profile low.To maintain the fairly sleek look and low profile of the device, I tried to make the case as small as possible. Much like the original stand that comes with the device, the case grabs onto the outer contour and maintains a fairly secure grip.My Stream Deck came with a USB C to USB C cable, which I did NOT use because I had one already connected to the right spot, which was much softer. Using the host end (straight end) of the provided cable should work without issues. Using the device end (90 degree angle) should work in theory, but I have not tested it. The original stand squishes the angled cable about the same after all.
