String Spinner

This is a fidget spinner with the capability to use a string to impart additional spinning speed. Fishing weights in the lobes are used instead of bearings. The combination of additional weight and greater initial speed results in extra long spin duration.

Fishing string is used to impart the spin. Tie a knot at one end to catch on a notch built between each of the lobes and wind the string around a ring on top of the fidget. Using a 16 in. string will result in 5 turns around the hub. This gives excellent initial speed. A longer string will make the spin last even longer.

Each cap has a pair of tabs that slide into the tabs of the other cap.

A standard 608ZZ Shielded 8x22x7 Miniature Ball Bearing is used in the center.
