String tidy

We all know that a string left to its own devices will tangle--it's an expression of the natural tendency toward entropy. But tangling can be prevented and to that end, I have designed this tool.

Specifically I designed it to hold my bowstring so that it's easy to unfurl for archery. Just by winding the string in a figure-8 pattern around two retaining knobs, it will be held from tangling. It can even be quickly released by popping out the anchors.

I've included several places to add pins which can be used to adjust the winding length of some portions of the string, which lets different lengths of bowstring (or other strings) fit a single length handle. There are also two variants of the retaining knob; one with a flat end and one domed. The domed type is easier to pop out from the reverse, making for extra quick string release, but the flat type is less likely to be pushed out accidentally.
