Adapter for using a Echo Speed-Feed 400 String Trimmer head on a Kobalt 24-Volt String Trimmer Head.
It is indexed to the trimmers shaft making it easier to hold the motor in place when tightening the nut to secure the Speed-Feed Head.
I have been using the Speed-Feed head on my Kobalt trimmer for about a year now. There has always been a large gap above the head. The original head had blades to draw in air for cooling the motor and keeping grass out. This spacer incorporates some of that thinking.
The spacer is 4mm thick with the blades at a 6mm length.
I would infill at least at 75%.
The indexed center may need to made wider with a jeweler's file.
