The base is printed upright so that the layer lines are perpendicular to the stress of the joint with the hook. The hook is printed split along its midline to ensure it is printable while keeping the layer lines in the optimal direction. Assembly To assemble, fold the hook so the flat sides are in contact, and slide into the base. when folding the hook, it may require a snap to break the halves apart.
