Like many of you, I've printed and made many things out of both Whity's classic "rugged box" as well as Hugo's SnapLock series of boxes. Both tremendous heritage behind them, great models, not to mention great starting points for loads of really interesting specialty boxes. I found myself torn. Love the reasonable pace of updates to the Snaplock series, but not always in love with the actual output. Love the simplicity and functionality of Whity's creation, but it hasn't been updated since 2024. So what's a guy to do? I decided to draw inspiration from bits of both and start with a clean slate. What you see here is after about 4 or 5 iterations. Driving principles? Flexibility and easy to alter parameters to size the boxes. Naturally, certain parameters aren't going to change much, if at all between different creators' work, but it still needs to be easily accessible. It needs to be printable on a variety of systems too. No requirements for suppo
