Styrofoam/EPS shredder

Hi all.

recently i build a drill powered mini styrofoam/EPS shredder.
Recycle old styrofoam and shred them to usable styrofoam beads for whatever project you need them. an easy and free solution and above all, powered with a cordless drill.

The parts are cut from scrap wood pieces (4mm), especially the wooden blades

In the file section you will find are all parts needed to build your own. parts are nested to a 20x30 working area.

Be very carefull with your fingers, this is not a toy!
The box can be cut from 4mm plywood.
The blades can have every width.

First build the entire box (dont glue the bottom and side yet).
place a 608zz ball bearing in the slots on the side panels.

the triangles should be glued on the under side of the diagonal plates that guide the styrofoam to the blades. this way the plates wont bend when styrofoam gets in between the blades, and the guide plates.

as a shaft i use a 10mm rod (can be threaded)
