SU 122 P

THE SU-122-P is an SU 85 converted in 1944 with a 122 mm D-25-S gun. This change was made to overcome the problems of availability of the 100 mm gun of the SU-100. also this gun is very famous for fighting German armored tanks such as the panther, this gun also equipped the IS-2 and ISU-122 tanks. But due to design problems, the tanks firing too slowly due to lack of space for reloading, this project was later abandoned, although multiple SU 85s were modified to accommodate this 122 mm D-25-S.
