sub soiler

A subsoiler is a very strong tine which can be drawn through the soil and subsoil at the required depth. Most tines have 'wings' fitted near the base of the tine to produce a lifting and shattering effect. This will only produce satisfactory results when the subsoil is reasonably dry and drainage is good.
