Succulent Pot

This is my first attempt at using CAD modelling software. i decided to work with FreeCAD. I scaled down and printed this planter here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2595854 and used the measurements of the smaller printed model to make this one in CAD.

I made this whole file from scratch in CAD as a learning exercise to get me comfortable with navigating and controlling the FreeCAD software so I can use my computer and my printer together as a tool to help me solve some of my problems.

the idea of this planter was not entirely my own, the majority of the credit goes to makerkeith. I did put my own spin on his design in an attempt to make it more effective for my own needs.

Update 2/20/2022: added a non-draining version for plants that dont die from water so easily
