Scale House (1:160) Šumperák is the nickname for a type of family house designed in the late 1960s. The first of its kind, referencing the Brussels style of the Czechoslovak Expo 58 pavilion, was built by architect Josef Vaněk (1932–1999) for the then-director of the hospital in the town of Šumperk. The house soon became popularly known as a Šumperák after the town's name. Its official title was “Type V family house.” The second house of this kind was built in the center of Šumperk (at 3 Terezínská Street), where it still stands today. Over time, around 20,000 of these houses were built across the country (5,000 blueprints were officially sold, but many were copied). In the early 1970s, the construction cost was around 120,000 Czechoslovak korunas (Kčs).If you like the model, I'd love to hear your feedback!
