* Updated 20160909: Adjusted the motor holder to the right about 5mm to provide better clearance at maximum Z heights. The first design touched the acrylic. RevF is the newer one (orange in the photos).

I first saw MeisnerX's idea to shorten the Bowden tube in early July 2016, and started making mods to fit my rig as I have had time to work on it. This is my current version as of late August 2016. I see that MeisnerX has changed his design significantly from his original mounting method on his latest revision, but here is my version, an offshoot of his original design.
Similar to his original design, I still mount off the main X axis rods, but flipped the design to move the motor more to the front of the printer.

I left the motor mount opening large to allow more air flow around different motors, and added 4 of the 3mmx25mm bolts with 3mm nuts and springs to hold the motor in place. I also added some little clamp pads to stop the screws from marking the stepper motor.
