This is my remix of the Sunlu AMS Dryer Valve model that is much easier to implement - no mucking around with mains power, minimal connections, just connect USB power & go! This project was developed to leverage the existing Sunlu AMS Dryer ‘valve & servo’ design, whilst removing the need to add external hardware or tinker with mains power and using an open code base. This system leverages an Arduino Pro Micro running lightweight code - it & the servo can be powered off a standard USB power supply. The code is designed to monitor a fan channel that the Pro Micro is connected to (via a resistor divider), and open the valve when a fan is seen to be active and close it when the AMS Dryer is inactive or off.
