Stop throwing away those cardboard spools! They can be converted into nice containers with (not so) small print. ⚠️ Before printing, make sure that you have the correct size spools - the project is made for rolls with an outer diameter of around 82-83 mm and a wall thickness of around 2.5 mm. There are two profiles - one with a fuzzy skin lid, the other with a plain lid. I prefer the fuzzy one because it's easier to open, so this one is shown in the photos. Assembly is very easy; just put the bodies on the ends and apply some force, either with bare hands or a rubber hammer. If you want to store heavy things in it, some glue would be helpful. Update 2026-05-04: Chamfered teeth vertices a bit, as @CyanureChan suggested. Now it should be easier to put together. Update 2026-05-06: Added rolls connector - with it, you can connect rolls and make boxes as high as you want. Example of connected rolls shown in the third picture. Credits for the idea to Reddit user Swimming_Pie3525.
