Sunlu Spool Winder

This spool winder is specifically for Sunlu spools. If you have purchased large spools and need to transfer them onto the 1kg size spools this would help with that process. It could also be used to transfer filament from a broken spool onto an empty Sunlu spool. You may be able to spin it with a drill if you have a large enough socket, or i may design a 3/8" adapter for it at a later date.

1) slide the drum into the spool
2) insert the drum bolt into the drum
3) slide the end plates over the drum bolt
4) install 1 drum nut on each end
5) place the spool into the spool holder
6) slide the handle arm over the drum bolt and put another nut on the bolt to hold it in place
7) slide the handle bolt through the ball handle and screw it into the handle arm

you can use a 2nd spool holder to hold the damaged spool. use one hand to guide filament and keep tension while turning the handle with your other hand.
