Supinator/Pronator Device

This is our group's design for a device that helps patients rebuild muscles in their supinator and pronator muscles. You use it by having the patient grab the handle on one side with their outstretched arm, and the therapist rotates the device by turning the wheel. The therapist can also add varying amounts of resistance as the patient gets stronger. The handle has a removable bolt for those who cannot open their hand. Through our testing, people using it have reported that they do feel a stress put on the muscles in their forearm, so after prolonged usage, this device should help people begin to regain function in their forearm.
