Support Bracket for IKEA TROFAST

If your bins are falling out of your IKEA TROFAST storage unit, these support brackets will help. The bins fit into slots cut into the unit, but if you load the bins up with anything heavy they tend to fall out. These supports add just a few extra millimetres of support on either side and that seems to be enough to correct the problem.

Shown are a picture of the slots before and after installation of the supports. I put two brackets in each slot: one near the front and one near the middle.

There is also a picture of the screws I used to install the brackets (I drilled first). The screws can be up to 5/8" in length. Screw head diameter can be up to 6.5mm (the brackets have countersunk holes so that the screw heads do not stick out).
