Self release mechanism that can be integrated into a surf leash. Useful for river surfing.
Releases at a force of ~14kg.
Designed for 8mm swivels.
BoM:
2pcs - M4x10mm button head screw
1pc - 8mm swivel (not needed for Ball v2): I ordered mine from the link below and tapped an M5 thread into the hole for the set screw that came with the leash. The second swivel came with the leash

1pc - 15x4mm O-ring FPM75: See link below. I chose FPM because it is UV resistent

See picture for recommended orientation on print bed. I recommend PETG due to its UV resistance.
The file "...v2_Ball.stl" can be used instead of "...v17_Ball.stl" and can be directly inserted into the leash so you do not need to buy the extra swivel.
