Surfboard Foot Strap Mount

I needed a way to attach a foot strap to the front of my foil surfboard for learning foiling with my kite, but my foil board does not have attachment points for a foot strap.

These mounts house a t-nut which I believe is from an old snowboard or wakeboard binding track, but you could easily remix this to house any size t-nut.

It is attached to the board with 3M Scotch Extreme double sided tape, and so far appears to be holding tightly, even in the water.
