Swim Ring, weighted

I created this weighted swim ring for my granddaughter to help lean to swim underwater. It uses a 1" ID steel washer to add just enough weight for it to sink to the bottom in the pool. The washer is enclosed in the foot of the piece by adding a pause at layer 62 and inserting it. It then provides support for the filament to bridge the gap and close above it. I printed this without support. This did result in a rough spot under the upper part of the ring. I smoothed the loose end with a scraper and found that was an acceptable work around to avoid the cost of the support filament that would be needed to make it smoother. I printed one (Red) out of PLA and one (Blue) out of PETG, both worked well.Boost MeIf this design helps you please leave us a Boost!
