Some time ago my Synscan EQ5 holder broke it's gripping claw. I tried gluing, duct-tape and what not to try to get it to grip firmly again, but with no avail.
After some frustration I decided to draw and print a new one. At first I wanted to mimic the original, but realized that wouldn't prevent the gripper from snapping in the future. So, I came up with something you can bolt to your tripod.
I hope it'll help someone else out there as it helped me.
