Syringe Adapter

This 5mL syringe turn-and-lock adapter is a functioning replacement for commercial syringe adapters (example: http://www.dispensinglink.com/syringe-adapters.html) that are fairly expensive and hard to get in small quantities. This is a cheap and easy option. The two parts are not very delicate to print even without added support material.

I am using this as a hydraulic drive for the syringe but it can have many potential applications (fluid delivery, pneumatics, etc.). Rescales for other standard syringe sizes are to be added in the near future. Standard syringe sizes can be taken from the Harvardapparatus Syringe Selection Guide.

Drawback: Good for general use but starts leaking at higher pressures

- 4 screws (M4x12mm)
- 4 nuts (M4 - 7mm)
- 3 seal washers (4.4 × 2mm)
- silicone hose (outer fi = 6mm)
