I went through several prototypes and iterations to get the tolerances on this piece perfectly flush. The goal was to design a part that looks like premium, heavy-duty factory hardware, while keeping it optimized for FDM printing. Minimalist protection for the Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro buffer on the back of the P2S and X2D. Shields the internal spring mechanism from dust and debris while exposing the mechanical movement through precisely cut, diagonal negative space.
