T-80BV

History: In light of recent developments to main battle tanks, the Soviets desired an upgrade to their already existing fleet of T-72s. Inspired by its predecessor but on the basis of a renewed model, the T-80 series features room for an auto-loader, ERA protective bricks, and, last but not least, computerized firing systems. Many later improvements can be found on an ageing T-80 up to this day, making it a worthy successor that fills the gaps a T-72 could not. Regardless, its lack of blowout panels and dangerous placement of ammunition prove time and time again to be fatal.

Notes: 1/100 scale model from m_bergman is very near perfect! This is an extremely minor remix; Now includes historically accurate track treads. Model is a T-80BV non-export variant attached to the 4th Guards Tank Division, USSR at the time. Turret should rotate smoothly and machine gun should fit. If otherwise, please let us know. K oruzhiyu!
