T2 Adapter Spanner Wrench Tool

I needed to remove my T2-T2 adapter ring from my filter wheel the other day. For those that know, they are very small, thin and don't provide a lot of surface for grip, especially when close to a surface. I had previously tried using one of those rubber grippy pads used for opening jars and things in the kitchen, but there just isn't anything to grip on to. I tried several other methods until I got frustrated enough to reach for the pliers. It worked, but it damaged the threads of my adapter and the case of my filter wheel as seen in the pictures. I decided I needed a specialized tool. I designed this spanner wrench using OnShape, printed up a couple of iterations until I decided on this one. It has two small nubs that fit in the two holes of the T2 adapter ring and has a large area to give you something to grip on to. Pretty basic, but it works.
