This is an attempt to convert a cheap 10" Chinese tablet into a 2-in-1.
The tablet, like many others, was supplied with a clip-on case with a folding cover which is supposed to double as a stand. Since it folds, it is pretty useless as a platform to hold a keyboard: it isn't much better as a stand and won't do what I wanted - hold the tablet on my knee when I'm in an armchair.
The kickback stand was designed on Openscad, so you can easily alter it to suit your needs and tastes. The stand needs to be glued to the back of the case but, as it is only around 6mm tall, that's not too much of a disadvantage. For this, you can use sticky pads or double-sided carpet tape, which are fairly easy to scrape off. The stand holds my tablet exactly as I wanted.
Other published stands I could find need to grip the tablet at the lower edge of the screen. This isn't possible with the case open to support a keyboard.
I chose the TechGear Active Strike USB Bluetooth Keyboard as it was quite ch
