I made this spool holder so that my filament could feed into the extruder of my Creality CR10s Pro at a natural angle, unlike the top mount that it comes with. We have a bunch of 6005ZZC3 bearings (25x47x12mm) at my work so I made it to work with those. The base is made to print in two halves and then pop together like a puzzle. And the components that make up the shaft all have a snap-in-place design that requires no post processing or fasteners. And, they have a very gratuitous "click", might I add.
I have provided 3 different "Outer Shaft" parts. The 3 diameters denote the outermost diameter of the cylinder. The 51.5mm will fit into the little, white spools that Creality includes with each printer, the 53mm fits Creality clear spools, and the 72mm should fit some of the spools with larger diameters snuggly. I have not tried the 72 mm, and I doubt it will flex much at all. Might need to shave off the retention lip and just use it as a press fit.
I have made some minor modificat
