I wasn't happy with the steering angle that the stock radio has, so i designed this gearbox to increase the distance the wheel would turn from 100° to 170°
you will need:
2x 12x18x4 bearings
1x 5x10x4 bearing
3x m3x5 button head screws
2x m3x8 screws
1/8" or 2.5mm drill bit
phillips head screwdriver
(and hex drivers or hex keys if you use hex head hardware)
installation:
1. remove the steering wheel from the radio by prying the small cap out of the center of the wheel, remove the screw, and then remove the steering wheel.
2. insert the 5x10x4mm bearing into the intended slot in the main gearbox
3. place the main gearbox centered on the steering post at the desired angle, then place the the main gear on the steering post and then insert the second gear into the 5x10x4 bearing.
4. (for this step i recommend you disassemble the radio to avoid damaging the internals, I am not responsible if you ignore this and destroy your radio) adjust the mesh between the two gears, then
