Tactical mouse

This gaming mouse is an ode to nerd culture, set to embody iconic imagery identified in comics, movies, art, and most importantly: GAMING. The main goal is to use these ideas to celebrate what polyjet 3D printing has to offer that normal 3D-printing can't, which is the power to bridge designers, clients, and consumers through story telling. The ability to feel what is in your hand is one thing for typical 3d printing, but the opportunity to simulate texture, transparencies, and materials is what I attempted to showcase through this mouse. The various designs showcase how easy it is to plug and play multiple aesthetics and texture as next level prototyping. The mouse also showcases customizations with modular removable grips and buttons that encourage the person playing to pick what best suits their needs without accidently hitting unneeded buttons, making this mouse approachable for new and veteran gamers. The next level I wanted to incorporate was printing with installing LED’s in mind so light can bring transparent pieces to life, as seen in the renderings that have to mouse projecting VR game components. The ideal situation for this mouse is a customizable product that can change according to the games and media being played, chosen by consumer. Don’t just play the game, EXPERIENCE it!
